School celebrated its 63rd Annual Day on 08th
Dec. 07.

Katoch (Retd.), Dy. Director General NCC (
Punjab
, Haryana, Chandirarh and Himachal Pradesh) was the Chief
Guest. The Chief Guest was escorted by the School Mounted troop and
was welcomed by the Principal and School Prefects. Guard of Honour
was given by all the three wings of NCC and the School Band. The
Chief Guest took the salute and inspected the Parade along with the
Principal. In the Outdoor programme, various activities like March
Past by NCC Cadets, Martial Art, P.T. and Dumbbells drill and
finally Horse Riding Show was displayed. In the end, the Chief
Guest presented the trophies to all the winners of games and sports.
On completion of the Outdoor programme, the Chief Guest inaugurated
and inspected the different Exhibitions. He appreciated the efforts
made by the students. This was followed by a Tea Party.
In the evening, at 7.00 p.m. Indoor (Cultural) Programme was
presented by the students. The show started with the chanting of
`Mantras’ and `Saraswati Vandana’. The Chief Guest along with his
wife Dr.(Mrs.) Asha Katoch were welcomed by the Director BET Col VN
Ratnakar and Principal Mrs. Pam Kalsy. The Principal read out the
Principal’s Report. On this occasion of Old Boys, specially of 1982
Batch who were celebrating Silver Jubilee were also present. In the
end, the Chief Guest presented trophies and Prizes to all the
winners and merit holders. The School Banner was presented to
Panini House.
The Chief Guest who was also the Dy. Director General NCC,
introduced three rolling trophies for the Best Cadets of Army, Navy
and Air wing of NCC.
In the end, Vote of Thanks was given by Arun Morarka, a student of
class XII. This was followed by Dinner with students, staff and
guests.
Old
Boys’ Day Was held on 09.12.07. Vice President VINOBA Mr.
JS Mann along ith other Old Boys specially of 1982 batch played
Basketball, Volleyball and Cricket matches with the school team.
Principal Mrs. Pam Kalsy who is also the President of VINOBA gave
away the prizes to all the team members. In the evening Old Boys
hosted a tea party for the staff in Ashoka Lawn. After the party,
VINOBA meeting was held at Lotus Hall. Various points for
development of VINOBA and school were discussed. The 1983 batch
boys presented a Work Station to the school for all three sections.
Finally the Principal thanked them for their presence and assured
them for better and more comfortable stay in the school in future.
