Celebration of Shri Krishana
Janmashtami
Shri
Krishna Janmashtami, the Birthday of Lord Krishna is an
auspicious day for Hindus. To embibe the religious spirit
and know our rituals the curriculum of our school included
jhanki competition on this day, keeping in mind the
objective of ‘play way’ method. To mark the importance of
the day the blooms of junior section projected different
colourful Jhankis .To name a few

showing childhood memories of Kanha in which Sonali
became Yashoda maiyya and Anshul became Kanha.

Nag Jhanki depicting the dance of Lord Vishnu on the
hood of nag.

Avtar Jhanki in which Shantanu was in full attire.

Krishna on his little finger thereby saving the
people from the fury of rain.
