Educational Trip to Ranthambore and Bharatpur

189 boys of class IX escorted by six teachers left for Ranthambore and Bharatpur as a part of Education on Friday, 29-1-10 after lunch.They reached Sawai Madhopur at 10.30pm. The next morning they visited the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve.They were divided into various groups who boarded various canters which were to go in various zones of the reserve. Each one of them took about three hours for a round in their respective zones.The children in the third zone were fortunate enough to see a tiger hunting.However the children in other zones saw deers of various types apart from other animals roaming of their own in the natural habitat.The next day the children visited the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary.It was also very interesting and informative.There they came across many species of birds. Some of them were local while most of them were migratory.It took them about two and a half hours for the entire round in the Sanctuary. The children were highly benefitted from the information of both the places and came back to school with the pleasant memories of the trip on Monday morning.
