“Sanskrit Shloka Competition”

The Inter House Sanskrit Shloka Competition was held on Wednesday, 25-2-10 in the Rose Hall at 7.00pm. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Mr. Narayan Singh Seshma, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Chirawa. He was warmly welcomed by the Principal, Col. D. Choudhury on his arrival. Thereafter the programme srarted. There were sixteen participants in all consisting of boys of class eighth and ninth. The judges for the above programme were Mr. K.K.Acharya and Mrs. A.Bhatnagar respectively. The participants recited the Shlokas most effectively and left no stone unturned to impress the judges and the audience. The judges listened very attentively to the boys and judiciously placed Qusai Kanvaswala, Kartike Sharma and Aditya Verma  on first, second and third positions in class eighth while Ankesh Sarraf, Aayush Bharadwaj and Manu Singh were placed on first, second and third positions in class ninth respectively. The judges gave valuable suggestions for the improvement of the  children in future.The Chief Guest congratulated the boys for their active participation and also for bringing laurels to their respective houses. Finally the vote of thanks was proposed by the Headmaster, Mr. A.B.Sati.
